The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Reviewed by Lilly M.

It is finally over. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the conclusion of the Twilight movie series. The conclusion illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this romantic epic that has awed millions of teenage girls.

The movie starts with Bella opening her eyes as a vampire after giving birth. Bella has given birth to a half-vampire daughter Renesmee with husband Edward Cullen. In Part 1, Bella was turned immortal/vampire after the very difficult childbirth.

Trouble started when the Volturi, they are the ancient aristocrats who act as enforcers in the vampire world, thought that Renesmee would be uncontrollable creature and that she be destroyed. Edward and his family had to convene as many witnesses as they can to testify that Renesmee is not immortal and uncontrollable.

Finally the Volturi’s came calling led by Aro and Jane. And like the other Twilight movies, the Volturi are not convinced and are not listening. They have to destroy the Collen clan.

The movie started very slow with some comedic scenes and laughable moments. Towards the middle to the end there is a lot of action and ended with a climactic battle. The battle scene toward the end of the film is pretty cool but also grisly. The war rages on until a “reveal” which is a letdown. The finale is sure to make the “Twilight” fan satisfied.

The movie has some great action scenes but the ending is anti-climactic and very uninteresting. If you are not a Twilight fan, the movie would be uninteresting; there is nothing special at all. If you have expected something to happen, you will be disappointed.

The series is finally over.

The movie started very slow but once the action and fighting started, it started a good time for teenage guys, I really liked it but wish it had a better ending.
