Teeange Mutant Ninja Turtles 1Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the 5th movie based on the’70’s comic characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman.

New York City is gripped with crime and corruption with Shredder and his evil Foot Clan has an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future of the city is grim until four outcast brothers rose from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and become heroes.

The four mutant turtles have to work with April O’Neil, a fearless TV reporter and her cameraman Vern Fenwick in order to save the city and unravel the diabolical plan of Teeange Mutant Ninja Turtles 2Shredder and his evil Foot Clan. April O’Neil aims to get footage of the nasty Foot gang that is terrorizing New York when she stumbles upon the four Turtles that she remembers from her childhood.

Unless you grew up in the ‘80’s and liked the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back then, don’t bother spending your money and time on this one. The plot is ridiculous with too much unnecessary violence and the dialogues are bad. Production design is also bad with the costumes of the four Turtles looking like rubber outfits.

This is as bad if not worst as the last four sequels. This is another needless sequel.

Megan Fox stars as April O’Neal and directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

  2. Lisa.walters says:

One of the worst movie of 2014 no wonder it is nominated for the Razzi award.

  3. Jersey girl says:

Some movies sequels are not supposed to be made and this one is one of those, horrible movie.

  4. Kate M says:

Grew up watching the series on TV but this movie suck!

  5. Upset Move Fan says:

There was no need to make this movie at all.

  6. Rebecca says:

Leave this one for the kids and kids at heart don’t even attempt to see it when it comes out of Netflix.

  7. D Harvey says:

This movie doesn’t have a story but who needs a story if the movie is intended for kids. The only good thing about this movie is the impressive effects. Don’t recommend to see this movie wait for it to come out in Netflix.

  8. Likemovies says:

Absolutely ridiculous movie unless you are 10 year old boy.

  9. rj3654 says:

The movie is made for young boys. Once you get past the plot holes, you’ll find an amusing action adventure film for the average 10-year old boy. It’s a fun movie! Okay, forget about so many senseless and unexplained things in this movie!

  10. cnewton says:

Movie was decent mindless entertainment. Fun if you don’t go in taking it too seriously. But does have some intense and stunning 3D action sequences but still not enough of them to make it different from other typical brainless blockbuster film

  11. Lis of Atlanta says:

I am a fan of the franchise but this latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a mediocre reboot of a beloved franchise. Instead of creating the large, charismatic personalities of the Turtles the writers opt for mind-numbing action and explosive chaos.

  12. Nan Klein says:

This is one ridiculous and ugly movie.

  13. Mel Hamilton says:

The movie is just a terrible movie with nothing going for it. No surprise at all though. The turtles are ugly and look more like frogs than turtles. The “Foot Clan” aren’t even ninjas, they’re just a bunch of guys in S.W.A.T. gear with guns. This movie should be thrown out and forgotten.

  14. Cowgirl says:

It is too fast paced, lacking character depth and no development at all, and storyline is so weak. It’s narrative seems to be lifted from the amazing spider-man films of the past two years where it revolves around breakthroughs in science that have gone terribly wrong.

  15. Nancy W says:

There are sequel movies that should not be made again, this is one of them, just a disaster.

  16. Phillip T says:

This movie got a 20% at Rotten Tomatoes. I went in with low expectations and I found it entertaining and pretty funny. I often wonder if people who review this type of movie try to use the same standards that they would use to review a serious drama.

  17. Greg of Seattle says:

Plenty of action, comedy, and humor for both kids and adults to enjoy. It was not as bad as I expected it was going to be. I don’t remember ever really liking TMNT when I was growing up, so maybe that slightly slants my review.
