A movie review by moviereviewsetc.com
Bad Moms is a comedy about three moms who are over-worked and exhausted who are about to snap just to have a perfect family, kids and at the same time a career. About to snap, they join forces to liberate themselves from the conventional responsibilities of a perfect mom; going wild, having fun which put them on a collision course with a PTA Queen Bee and her side kicks.
I did not have great expectations before seeing the movie but was surprised how funny it was and actually one of the better comedies of 2016. The movie may be predictable but so is most of this type of movie. What is lacks in material is compensated by the great comedic chemistry by the three main stars and with the supporting cast.
Each character is well written specially the character played by Mila Kunis, Amy Mitchell. She is overworked at home and at the office and gets no recognition for her efforts from her boss, her kids and even from her husband who is having an affair on the internet. She finally got fed up and had a great time for herself and her 2 new found friends who are also overworked moms themselves. Predictably, they eventually got recognitions for their efforts.
Overall, it is a good and funny movie despite its short comings. Good chemistry among the cast and they did what they can with what they have to work with and delivered a good movie.
It stars Mila Kunis as Amy Mitchell, Kristen Bell as Kiki, Kathryn Hanh as Carla, and Christina Applegate as PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn with side kick Jada Pinkett Smith as Stacy with Martha Stewart in a cameo role as herself. Directed and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.
