Me Before You

A movie review by

Me Before You 1View their official site
Me Before You is adapted from the bestselling novel by JoJo Moyes which is about the relationship between a simple English woman and a wealthy quadriplegic Londoner who hires her as his caretaker.

The relationship is unexpected between the two considering their differences; him a wealthy, educated successful banker with good taste of the finer things of life and her simple, Me Before You 2perky with a quirky taste of clothes. She resembles Ugly Betty, perky and loves “unusual” clothes which makes her standout in a crowed while he likes classical music and highbrow foreign films.

Louisa Clark and her family is having financial difficulties and forced to take job to take care William Traynor a young successful banker but had an accident and became quadriplegic. Being young, successful and athletic, William wanted to die and gave his parents 6 months to change his mind. The parents hired Louisa to help change his mind within this 6 month.

Me Before You 3The film may look typical movie about assisted suicide and about a young energetic, successful man dealing with the consequences of a tragic accident but has several surprises. Although it is dealing with a sensitive and depressing subject, it is not preachy. The two main characters have good chemistry and Emilia Clark as the perky Louisa is did a wonderful job and being an adaptation of a bestselling novel, the plot and writing is excellent. It is an emotional film but did not wallow in heavy drama; it had just the right amount of charm and drama. The right popular music is also used throughout the film to convey what is in the character’s mind.

Overall this is a wonderful uplifting movie which will make you laugh and be sad at the same time. Emilia Clark’s performance is a surprise.

It stars Emilia Clark (from Game of Thrones fame) as Louisa Clark, Sam Claflin (from Hunger Games) as William Traynor, directed by Thea Sharrock and written by Jojo Moyes.

The Nice Guys

A movie review by

View their official site
The Nice Guys 2The Nice Guys is about a pair of struggling private detectives in Los Angeles during the 70’s who stumbled on a sprawling conspiracy while investigating the alleged suicide of a prominent female porn star.

Jackson Healy and Holland March are both private investigators working separately until their paths crossed thru a common link, a girl named Amelia. They both teamed up to crack the case of missing Amelia but stumbled on a sprawling conspiracy involving the Detroit car makers on one hand and environmentalist and smog on the other. The Nice Guys 3

The movie is very well written, directed and superbly acted with the 1970’s production design believable without going overboard. This is an action movie with a touch of mystery. The main characters are well developed and the chemistry between them is wonderful and so with supporting characters.

Like most of Shane Black movies that he directed, The Nice Guys is made in Black’s style of film making, an action-comedy about two buddies, their chemistry or the lack thereof presented in a comedic fashion. Ryan Gosling as bumbling investigator worked very well with Russell Crowe’s serious but temperamental character. Overall the movie is great and very entertaining although the violence is really in your face; they could have trimmed some of it without having any impact on the overall quality of the movie.

The Nice Guys 4Russell Crowe stars as Jackson Healy, Ryan Gosling as Holland March and Agourie Rice as Holly March; directed by Shane Black.

Money Monster

Money Monster 1A movie review by

View their official site

Money Monster is about Lee Gates and his TV producer Patty Fenn held hostage by an irate investor who loses his money. Lee Gates is a slick, flamboyant and bombastic TV personality who has a popular TV show about stock market and investing that made him a financial pundit and a Wall Street financial guru. An irate investor who loses money crashes his TV show after Lee hawks a high tech stock that mysteriously crashes.Money Monster 2

Small time investor Kyle Budwell took Lee Gates, all the TV crew including producer Patty Fenn hostage live on air watched by millions. Lee and Patty have to uncover the truth and lies behind the market crash of the stock Lee hawks in real time, live on air.

The movie is very entertaining and full of thrill from start to finish. The story is well written, easy to follow with a few hilarious moments and has an ending that is not predictable. The plot seems simple except for the financial dealings but the movie made it easy to follow and understand. It is a solid middle budget movie with a lot of tense scenes.

Great acting performance by Julia Roberts and George Clooney and both made a great pair but most of the supporting cast have lackluster performance and forgettable. Highlight scene came from the girlfriend of Kyle who berated him live on TV, what she said is unexpected.

Money Monster 3

Julia Roberts stars as producer Patty Fenn, George Clooney as the smug and flamboyant Lee Gates, Jack O’Connell as Kyle Budwell the hostage taker; directed by Jodie Foster and written by Alan DiFiore, Jamie Linden and Jim Kouf.

The Boss

The Boss 1A movie review by

View their official site
The Boss is the latest comedy from Melissa McCarthy about a lady business titan who is sent to prison for insider trading. Not everyone she screwed was not very forgiving after emerging from prison and started to rebranded herself as America’s business sweetheart; they were not quick to forget and forgive. Like Martha Stewart she is able to rise and rebrand with the help of a business associate and daughter selling cookies door to door.

Like most of Melissa McCarthy’s brand of comedy, The Boss is R rated peppered The Boss 2slapsticks with crude but funny jokes, touchy situations about family and friendship. It is about a mean businesswoman seeing her mistakes and learning to find compassion and friendship with people around her. There are funny parts but there are a lot of crude and raunchy situations and some jokes are forced.

The Boss 3If your type of movie is about serious topics this movie may not be appropriate for you but if you just want to laugh for a while then is definitely recommended. It is not as funny compared to some of her movies but she is known to sometimes make silly movies; this is not one of her best.

It stars Melissa McCarthy as The Boss Michelle Darnell, Kristen Bell as Claire the business friend who helped The Boss rebrand, Peter Dinklage as Renault and Katy Bates in a minor role as Ida (she is a regular in Melissa McCarthy’s movies). Written by Melissa McCarthy with Ben Falcone and Steve Mallory; directed by Ben Falcone.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1A movie review by

View their official site

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is a sequel to the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time. It is still about a wedding but this time it is the wedding of Maria Portokalos, the mother when they found out that their original wedding was not valid.

The movie is all about Maria Portokalos getting re-married to Toulas father when they found out the first wedding is not My Big Fat Greek Wedding 5valid as it was not signed by the priest that officiated the wedding. There’s a lot of jokes about the wedding but most of the jokes somewhat missed the mark.

While most critics found the movie unfunny, stale and tired, the movie goers where I went to see the movie and like most movie audience found the movie funny from start to the end. While My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is not as good and not as funny as the original, it is still recommended and worth paying to see the movie. Lainie Kazan as Maria Portokalos and Andrea Martin as the meddling Aunt Anna are so funny that I think they stole the show.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2

It may not be as funny and as successful as the first installment but it is still funny enough and will be a success.

It stars Nia Vardalos as Toula, John Corbett as Ian Miller, Lainie Kazan as Maria, Andrea Martin as Aunt Voula, Rita Wilson as Anna and John Stamos in a minor role as George; directed by Kirk Jones and written by Nia Vardalos.

Zootopia 1Zootopia is a feel-good animation about being different, tolerance and being able to fulfill your dreams against all odds. Zootopia is a modern metropolis of mammals; a melting pot of every kind of animals from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, from the idealist rabbit wanting to become a successful police officer to the slick fox hustling to make a living. It is a huge melting pot metropolis where you can be anything.

Zootopia 2Zootopia is your typical Disney animation where the main character is dreaming to become somebody where her physique is not built for the job but strived to excel and be successful. Judy Hopps is a cottontail wanting to become a successful police officer in a big bad city. Along the way she encountered Nick Wilde a slick hustler; they started on the wrong foot but eventually joined forces to catch the bad guys.

The animation is beautifully done, bright and vibrant pastel colors were used; typical Disney. There’s a lot going on in the story but it is very well laid out and easy to follow; it is fast pace no dull moment and keeps you interested and very well edited.

The movie is funny with great dialogues, socially relevant and very touching. It is recommended for both young and adults who like funny, witty and fast paced animation. It deals with tolerance, prejudice and other social issues that is easily for kids to understand.

Zootopia 4

Ginnifer Goodwin did the voice of Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde by Jason Bateman, Bonnie Hopps by Bonnie Hunt, and Chief Bogo by Idris Elba. Directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore and Jared Bush.

Spotlight 1Spotlight is a true story of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe investigation that would rock the city and cause a crisis on the Catholic Church one of the world’s oldest and most trusted institutions. When the team of reporters in the Boston Globe called the “Spotlight” delves into allegations of abuse in the Catholic Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of Boston’s institutions from the church, government and legal system.
While the movie dealt with the infamous scandals of sexual Spotlight 2abuse in the Catholic Church and earning the Best Picture in the most recent Oscar awards, in my opinion the movie itself is not great for it to earn the highest honor in the awards. There is nothing great in the writing, acting and technical aspects. It may be a great TV movie but definitely not Oscar worthy.

Spotlight 3The movie is packed with dialogues and it does hold the interest of the viewer but it should have been better written as a book but not turned into a movie. It is not a bad movie but it is not a memorable one.

It stars Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci; directed and written by Tom McCarthy.

Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part 2

A movie review by
View official site

Hunger Games 1The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is the second half to the final Hunger Games book written by Suzanne Collins where Katniss and her group continue to overthrow the Capitol.

Mockingjay – Part 2 like the rest of the series looks spectacular with awesome costumes and acting from the main characters on point. Being the final movie of the series, the plot Hunger Games 2is predictable; you already know what would happen to the Capitol and the president. At two hours and sixteen minutes, the pacing is slow and the movie is very long and drags on some parts.

Overall, the final movie is solid but compared to the first two movies of the series, it ends with a whimper instead of a bang. It is a satisfying conclusion to a series where the best is Catching Fire which is a visually stunning movie with great plot, great acting and awesome production design.

Hunger Games 3

It stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch and Donald Sutherland as President Snow.

CreedCreed is about Adonis Johnson, the son of the world famous heavy weight boxing champion Apollo Creed. Adonis never knew his famous father, Apollo died before he was born. As the son of a heavy weight boxing champ, boxing is in his blood.

Adonis headed to Philadelphia where the boxing matches of the father were held. He aspired to be as great as his father and recruited Rocky Balboa to be his trainer and who was an upstart boxer during his father’s time. Rocky Balboa knew Adonis had inherited the strength and determination of his father, the rival who became one of his closest friends.

Creed is a spin-off and continuation of the Rocky series starring Sylvester Stallone. It Creed 1is a very effective character drama. It had similarities and like the Rocky series, it has the formula of the series that made it successful. The performances of the main characters have depth and are sensational. Michael B. Jordan performance as Adonis is very powerful.

Creed 2The movie is the typical story about boxing and fighting for survival in the ring. There is nothing new in the movie and the story is predictable like most boxing movie; it has all the elements of the Rocky series from the training sequences to the title fight but it was done in a way that will amaze the viewer. Like most boxing drama, the pacing is very fast and no dull moment.

It stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. Directed by Ryan Coogler which he co-wrote with Aaron Covington.

Secret In Their Eyes

A movie review by
View official site

Secret in Their Eyes 1Secret in Their Eyes is a remake of an Argentine movie about a team tight-knit investigator who is torn apart when they discover that the daughter of Jess one of the investigator is brutally murdered. They were staking a mosque with the hope of uncovering a terrorist plot when a body is found in a dumpster which turns out to be the daughter of Jess.

After more than a decade of obsessively searching for the killer, Ray uncovers a new lead that would finally resolve and bring a closure to the case. However the team is not prepared to deal with the secret that would reveal the effects of vengeance to them. Secret in Their Eyes 2

With a cast of stellar talents, the movie is not bad but not great either. The plot has lots of twists but it is easy to follow however the pacing is very slow specially the first half of the movie. Julia Roberts did a good job as Jess but Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor has no chemistry together, Nicole Kidman is a bit too uptight as their supervisor. Julia Roberts is not the sexy character in Pretty Woman but an ordinary character bare of make-up and looks decades older but she is a top caliber actress in this movie.

Secret in Their Eyes 3

Although the pacing is slow Secret in Their Eyes is a “talking-movie” with a good plot and a great and surprise ending. This may not be your kind of movie if you are into summer blockbuster movies with lots of action and explosions.

It stars Julia Roberts as Jess, Nicole Kidman as Claire, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Ray, Alfred Molina as Martin Morales; directed by Billie Ray which also co-wrote the movie with Eduardo Sacheri.

James Bond 1Spectre is the latest sequel of the James Bond franchise. A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a trail to uncover a sinister organization; the organization responsible for the death of people close to Bond including the former M. James Bond uncovers the layers of deceit to reveal the truth behind Spectre while M fends off political forces to keep the secret service alive.

Spectre is the typical James Bond movie from how it is made with great visuals, production design and music. The movie opens with a scene in Mexico City during the Day James Bond 2of the Dead celebration; great action scenes and production design and after this comes the opening credits with the theme song which is very James Bond movie. After this the movie went downhill.

There is really nothing new to this latest of the franchise. If you have seen the other movies of the franchise you have seen this latest with its stylish production design, action scenes, a group of villains headed by a super villain and beautiful Bond women in supporting roles. This is your standard Bond movie.

James Bond 3You may like this if you are a diehard James Bond fan, not if you are a movie aficionado. It is the same and predictable as the previous movies of the franchise.

It stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ben Whishaw as Q, Ralph Feinnes as M, Christoph Waltz (as usual the villain) as Franz Overhauser, Judi Dench on a cameo role as the former M, and Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann; directed by Sam Mendez and co-written by Ian Fleming.

The Last Witch Hunter

A movie review by

The Last With Hunter 1The Last Witch Hunter is about Kaulder, a warrior who killed the all-powerful Queen Witch and in the process decimating her followers.

Even in the modern world there are still witches living among us. These are vicious supernatural beings that are intent on unleashing the Black Death among men. But throughout history there are many witch hunters who The Last With Hunter 2battled these witches including Kaulder. He is the last of his kind and spent centuries battling rogue witches.

The Queen Witch is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killers which causes epic battle that will determine the survival of humanity.

The Last With Hunter 3

The movie itself and its’ plot is not original, the story has been told numerous times before and this type of movie and its’ plot has been made before, there is nothing new. It has good visuals and musical score but that is the only thing good about this movie.

The Last With Hunter 4

With its’ action scenes, it is is entertaining if you are into this kind of movie and also like Vin Diesel however it is very predictable from the very start that you wish you went to see something else. You can watch it on Netflix on a slow weekend but not recommended for theater viewing.

It stars Vin Diesel as Kaulder, Michael Caine as Dolan 36th, Elijah Wood as Dolan 37th, and Julie Engelbrecht; directed by Breck Eisner and written by several writers.

Crimson Peak

A movie review by
View official site

Crimson Peak is a supernatural gothic mystery about a woman a young heiress who fell in Crimson Peak 1love to a stranger who owns a decaying mansion on top of a mountain with red-blood clay; a house with very dark secrets that will haunt her forever.

This is a gothic romance between Edith Cushing a young heiress aspiring to become an author with a taste of the supernatural and Baronet Thomas Sharpe an inventor Crimson Peak 2seeking an investment from her father. Dashing Thomas swept Edith off her feet and eventually moved to the Baronets’ gloomy, windswept and decaying castle in the north of England.

Living in the castle with the bride and groom is Lucille the spinster sister of the Baronet. Like their decaying caste, Lucille is as cold as the castle whose part of the roof is missing, insects and butterflies all around inside the house and dead leaves and snow falling on the hole on the roof. Lucille is icy and gloomy with very dark secrets.

Crimson Peak 3With a measured pace, the movie is not very subtle, ghosts are not hidden behind doors and closets and the violence is in your face gory. It is not predictable where you know what would happen at the end. Crimson Peak is not the traditional horror movie of today but a Gothic romance horror movie.

Crimson Peak 5The real wonder is the decadent and stylish production design. It is dark and moody with very dark and rich colors. The clothes especially that of the women are dark, the furniture around the castle are dark and heavy which sets the gloomy tone of the movie.

Jessica Chastain did very well as icy and evil Lucille and so with Mia Wasikowska as frail but strong willed Edith; Tom Hiddlestone starred as Thomas Sharpe. Directed by Guillermo Del Torro which he also co-wrote with Matthew Robins and Lucinda Coxon.

Hotel Transylvania 2

A movie review by
View official site

Hotel Transylvania 2 is a sequel to the hit comedic animation co-written by Adam Hotel Transylvania 1Sandler. It is about hotel manager Dracula a single-single dad vampire and his daughter Mavis who is about to broke a tradition to have a romance with a human.

The movie is marginally better than the original with very colorfully animated gags which is typical of Adam Sandler’s type of comedy. As the movie is targeted for kids, it has no defined plot or the plot is shifting from one to the next. The gags may be low hanging but at least it is fast paced.

Hotel Transylvania 4Like most Adam Sandler movies, the jokes are stale and not original and annoying. The entire movie is like a series of TV sitcom stitched together. This is not an animated masterpiece which will not be sitting well with critics and definitely not going to win awards. Teenagers may like the low hanging comedies but not adults.

Hotel Transylvania 3

It stars Selena Gomez as Mavis and Adam Sandler as Dracula with a smorgasbord of comedians as supporting cast: Mel Brooks as Vlad, David Spade as Griffin, Megan Mullally as Linda, Molly Shannon as Wanda, Kevin James as Frankenstein, and Steve Buscemi as Wayne and Fran Drescher as Eunice. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky.

The Martian

A movie review byThe Martian
View official site

The Martian is an adaptation of a best-selling novel about astronaut Mark Watney who left on Mars and presumed dead by his colleagues in order to escape a fierce Martian storm. Stranded alone with meager supplies on the hostile red planet, he needs to figure out how survive. While it is impossible for plant to survive in the Martial environment, he was able to figure out how plant potatoes and also figure out how to contact Earth and inform NASA that he is alive.

NASA and some international scientist had to figure out how to bring home “The Martian”. They had to use Mark Watney’s colleagues who are still in space and are traveling towards Earth. The Martian 2

The movie has a great plot and is easy to follow and also hilarious. Some of the shots, especially scenes of the red planet environment are stunning with the red sand dunes and mountains of rock outcroppings. Disco music from the 70’s was also properly utilized and blended very well to make the movie a wholesome hit.

The Martian 3

The Martian is so far the best film directed by Ridley Scott, he can make wonders with the right script. Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain did a convincing job so with the rest of the supporting cast. While they did all a great job, Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain have done this before in Interstellar their previous movie together with almost the similar plot; it looks like they are being typecast together.

The Martian 4

This is a great summer movie, big production design, great story with great cast; this is not one of those summer popcorn movies. While there is a few holes here and there especially the science part, it is a great movie and very entertaining.

The Martian 5

It stars Matt Damon as Mark Watney, Jessica Chastain as Melissa Lewis, Kristen Wiig as Melissa Lewis, Jeff Daniels as Teddy Sanders, Michael Pena as Rick Martinez, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Venkat Kapoor and Kate Mara as Kate Johanssen. Directed by Ridley Scott and written by Drew Goddard.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

A movie review by
View official site

Mission Impossible 1Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is the latest installment of the long running series. Ethan is out in the cold after the IMF was disbanded and is facing yet another group of gang out to create a new world order.

The highly skilled special agents (as always they are highly trained with their craft) called the Syndicate wanted to create a new world order through a series of terrorist attacks throughout the world. With the IMF disbanded, Ethan assembled his team and joined forces with British agent Isla Faust who could be a member of the Syndicate.

This installment of the franchise has very high production values and intricate storyline with stunning visuals and Mission Impossible 2action scenes. This is your typical big budget summer movie with lots of action scenes most of which are on the edge if not impossible action scenes like Ethan is outside a plane holding on to a plane while it is taking off. It has some comedic scenes but not cheesy but like most blockbuster summer movies, it is escapist made purely to entertain.

Mission Impossible 3

Tom Cruise may not be young anymore but he is still on top of his games with these highly choreographed action scenes but the film really belongs to Rebecca Ferguson as Isla Faust the British agent; this movie makes her a star.

Mission Impossible 4

It stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brand, Rebecca Ferguson as Isla Faust and Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley, directed by Christopher McQuarrie and written by Drew Pearce, Bruce Geller and Christopher McQuarrie.

Ricki & the Flash

A movie review by
View official site

Ricki & the Flash is a movie about Ricki, a struggling sixty-ish rock singer guitarist who Ricki & the Flashgave up everything including her family for her dream of becoming a rock-and-roll star. She and her band play at a strip mall bar in a Los Angeles suburb and in order to make ends meet, Ricki has to work at a grocery as a cashier.

Ricki has to return home to Indianapolis in order to make things right with her family where her daughter is having a break down and tried to kill herself after she was dumped by her husband; her son is getting married to an uptight vegetarian.

Ricki & the Flash 1

While the story is about redemption, the movie is not melodramatic. It is not about the main character making amends to what she did just to follow her dream but it is about reconnecting with her family. The movie is about “profession versus family” where the main character picked profession. It is not only about the relationship with her family but also about working women in general; men are generally have better chances and are tolerated to make mistakes than women.

Ricki & the Flash 2

Ricki & the Flash is not a summer blockbuster movie with huge production design but a small movie with a few major stars. It is a drama-comedy, but not the uplifting type, with great music and relatively alright plot.

As usual Meryl Streep gave everything she can to make her character believable as a struggling rock-and-roll musician who is beyond her prime. Kevin Kline is also believable as the ex-husband (he is showing his age). Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep’s real-life daughter is like her mother acting wise.

It stars Meryl Streep as Ricki Rendazzo, Kevin Kline as former husband Pete Brummel, Rick Springfield as boyfriend Greg and Mamie Gummer as daughter Julie. Directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Diablo Cody.

Jurassic World

A movie review by
View official site

Jurassic World 1Jurassic World is another sequel to the original 1993 Steven Spielberg classic.

The movie is set in the present day where the theme park of John Hammond is doing good business and is already in operation for several years. Visitors to the park can touch the dinosaurs like a kid would pet an animal in a petting zoo.

Like most businesses, the park is pressed to come up with new species of dinosaurs to attract more visitors and keep the profits rolling. The scientists at the park came up with a hybrid type and this is where the problem started. The hybrid dinosaur wreck havoc to the island park.

Jurassic World 2

Jurassic World is your typical summer blockbuster movie; it is action packed with lots of jaw dropping special effects but thin on plot and story. The main characters are boring, 2 dimensional and there was no character development; the real stars are the dinosaurs and most probably this is what the producers intended to rake in the profits in selling merchandise.

Jurassic World 3

Production design is magnificent with the dinosaurs looking so real and with the park Jurassic World 5island visually appealing. However the plot is almost non-existent and very formulaic and predictable with some scenes unrealistic; executive Claire Dealing running with high heels on. Jurassic World has some entertainment value with the production design and jaw dropping special effects but nothing else.

It stars Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas Howard as park executive Claire Dealing, Vincent D’Onofrio as bad guy Vic Hoskins and directed by Colin Trevorrow.

Minions 1Minions started as single-celled yellow organism from the dawn of time and evolved through the ages and serving the most despicable masters in every generation. These masters however pass away and the Minions become depressed in not being able to have a permanent master.

A Minion named Kevin together with two other Minions, Stuart and Bob, had a plan and travelled out the world to find a perfect evil master. This led them to meet Scarlet Overkill, the first female super-villain.Minions 4

Minions is a spin-off of the highly successful animation Despicable Me and although it does not have the same quality as Despicable Me, it has the humor for both kids and adults. It has a simple to non-existent plot and so with the story which is appropriate and suitable for kids to follow. Most parts of the movie are funny but some parts are “funny-silly” and the humor is juvenile which kids will like.

Minions 2

The animation is not that great and nothing special with the characters drawn and designed very simple but the Minion characters are somewhat adorable. Being an animation movie for kids, they could have added more color.

Minions 3

This is a harmless and fun movie for kids but not so much for adults, it is a descent comedy. It is good but not as good as Despicable Me.

Sandra Bullock voiced Scarlet Overkill, Pierre Coffin as Kevin and Bob, Michael Keaton as Walter Nelson, Jennifer Saunders as the Queen, Steve Coogan as Professor Flux and directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda.

Ted 2

A movie review by
View official site

Ted 1 Ted 2 is the sequel of the first Ted movie about a talking and foul mouthed teddy bear. In the second installment, newlywed Ted and Tami-Lynn want a baby and Ted has to prove in court that he is a person in order to qualify to be a parent.

Like the first installment, Ted 2 is dumber than your average comedy. I did not like the first one which I watched on TV and I do not like the sequel either. Seth McFarlane’s brand of humor is very immature; Jim Carrey’s brand of humor is also immature but at least Jim Carrey’s comedy is funny.

The jokes are not only crude but they are lazy as well and the plot is needlessly complicated and all over the place. The material is about 10 minutes worth but it is far too stretched to about two hours.

Ted 2

The first one is really bad but the sequel is beyond bad, I don’t see the reason of making the sequel. I went to see the sequel to avoid the traffic on the freeway and thought the sequel might be better and expected an improvement from the first but the sequel is even worst.

It stars Mark Wahlberg as John Bennett, Ted’s voice is that of Seth McFarlane, Amanda Seyfried as Samantha Jackson, Jessica Barth as Tami-Lynn and directed by Seth McFarlane.
